BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An 11-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a pickup truck while riding his bike in Jamestown on Tuesday, according to police.
The incident occurred at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Willard Street and Kinney Street, prompting a response from Jamestown police, fire department, and emergency medical services.
The boy was initially taken to UPMC Chautauqua before being flown to Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, where he remains in critical condition.
Police say all parties involved are cooperating with the ongoing investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
