2 Injured After Tractor-Trailer Slams Pickup Truck into Pole in Lancaster County
Two people were injured in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck in Lancaster County on Friday morning. The accident occurred at the intersection of Friendly Drive and Lancaster Pike in Drumore Township at 10:25 a.m.
According to the Quarryville Fire Company, arriving crews found the tractor-trailer had collided with the pickup truck, which was then rammed into a pole. The two occupants of the pickup truck were transported to the hospital, though the extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
Fire police directed traffic around the scene until a small spill was cleaned up and crews cleared the wreckage. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
