2025 Infiniti QX60: Accessible Luxury with a Turbocharged Twist
The Infiniti QX60, once known as the JX, offers a three-row SUV option that sits below the brand’s flagship QX80. Already in its second generation after a 2022 launch, the QX60 is undergoing a significant engine change for the 2025 model year.
For 2025, Infiniti is updating its three-row people mover with a new engine. Replacing the previously used 3.5-liter V6, the 2025 QX60 now features the company’s 2.0-liter, variable-compression turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This VC-Turbo engine, which first appeared in the 2019 QX50, delivers 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque through a nine-speed transmission.
Autoweek executive editor Tom Murphy recently took the 2025 Infiniti QX60 for a spin, providing an in-depth look at the vehicle’s features and performance. In a new episode of Quick Spin, Murphy gives viewers a guided tour of the QX60 and highlights its key attributes before taking the vehicle out for a live driving review.
