2025 Renault Trafic Brings Enhanced Safety and Convenience
The 2025 Renault Trafic has been updated with significant safety and convenience upgrades, including a unique ‘ADAS button’ that allows drivers to toggle advanced safety features on and off with a single press. This feature, believed to be a first for vans in Australia, is part of a broader suite of enhancements across the Trafic range.
Key Safety Upgrades
The updated Trafic now comes standard with a driver attention monitor and enhanced autonomous emergency braking (AEB) that includes pedestrian and cyclist detection. These improvements have helped the Trafic achieve a ‘Gold’ rating from ANCAP. Other safety features such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and front parking sensors remain available, either as standard or optional equipment across different trim levels.
Convenience and Technology Enhancements
The Pro variant now features a factory-fitted steel bulkhead with a glazed window and a fold-down workstation integrated into the middle seat. This workstation includes a laptop storage compartment and an upright document holder, enhancing the van’s utility for professional users. Automatic high beams have been added to the base model, while the Premium and Lifestyle trims now feature a 7.0-inch instrument display.
Pricing and Specifications
The 2025 Renault Trafic is available in seven variants across short- and long-wheelbase configurations, with both manual and automatic transmissions. Pricing starts at $49,490 before on-road costs for the Trafic Pro SWB manual, representing a $490 increase across the range. All models are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine producing 125kW and 380Nm, with fuel consumption ranging from 6.5 to 7.2 liters per 100 kilometers depending on the model.
