Cadillac has announced the pricing for the 2026 Escalade IQL, the long-wheelbase, all-electric version of its flagship SUV. The starting price for the IQL will be $132,695, which includes the destination freight charge.
The Escalade IQL is expected to be a leading contender in the luxury electric SUV market, boasting an estimated range of 460 miles on a full charge. Fast charging capabilities will allow drivers to add approximately 116 miles of range in just 10 minutes. If buyers activate the velocity max feature, the vehicle can reach 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque and achieve 0 to 60 mph in a swift 4.7 seconds.
Production of the Escalade IQL is scheduled to commence in mid-2025 at General Motors’ Factory Zero plant in Detroit, with distribution planned for all ten of Cadillac’s global markets, inclusive of China and Canada. Cadillac executives have stated the new SUV will offer significantly increased cargo capacity compared to previous models.

Cadillac is working toward a fully electric vehicle lineup by 2030. John Roth, Vice President of Global Cadillac, noted that the brand’s vision plan, which was first drafted in 2015, is becoming a reality. “Are you truly engineering a portfolio and a platform from the ground up and making it a luxury vehicle? That’s where Cadillac wanted to go,” Roth explained.
Cadillac’s transition to electric vehicles follows a period of sales growth exceeding pre-pandemic levels. In 2023, sales of the Lyriq reached 9,154 units, increasing again to 28,402 in all of 2024 indicating the potential of the brand’s new electric powertrains. Cadillac’s strategic focus on EVs enables significant design innovation, Roth said. By removing the constraints of traditional internal combustion engines, engineers can develop vehicles with enhanced driving characteristics. The upcoming launches of the Optiq compact SUV and the three-row Vistiq SUV signal the next stages of Cadillac’s electric vehicle expansion.
