The 2026 Genesis GV70, a compact luxury SUV, is undergoing a refresh that brings both visual and interior improvements, but also price increases. The starting prices for the gasoline-powered GV70 models have increased, with the base model starting at $49,345, and the top-tier Sport Prestige trim reaching $71,545. Genesis has yet to announce pricing for the Electrified GV70.
Fresh Looks and Updated Features
For the 2026 model year, the GV70 gets a facelift, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The interior also gets a major upgrade with a new, dash-spanning display. These updates, along with added features across the trim levels, contribute to the price adjustments.

GV70 Price Breakdown
The entry-level 2.5T model, which retains its 300-hp 2.5-liter turbo four and standard all-wheel drive, now starts at $49,345. This marks a $1695 increase from the previous year. However, it now includes a 27-inch OLED screen and microlens-array headlights. The 2.5T Select trim, priced at $52,335 (up $1685), adds power adjustments, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless phone charging.
The 2.5T models also include the Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige trims. The Sport Advanced starts at $56,885 (a $3,235 increase), while the Sport Prestige comes in at $60,245, reflecting a $685 price hike. The Advanced trim offers leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and a premium Bang & Olufsen stereo system. The Prestige trim brings 21-inch wheels, sportier styling elements, more leather surfaces throughout the cabin, and a third climate zone.
Those seeking enhanced power can opt for the 375-hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine. The 2026 lineup eliminates the 3.5T Sport trim. Instead, the V6-powered models start at $64,865 for the Sport Advanced, which is $4,615 more than the corresponding trim last year. However, the Advanced trim itself is priced $1785 lower than before. The top-of-the-line Sport Prestige is priced from $71,545, reflecting a price increase of $1,695.
Electrified GV70 Updates
The Electrified GV70 also gets updates for 2026, with a larger 84.0-kWh battery for increased range and a standard NACS charge port. Genesis has yet to release official pricing for the electric model, with details expected closer to its on-sale date, which will likely follow the gasoline-powered GV70’s spring debut.
