Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Grand Traverse County
A tragic accident occurred on Friday evening in Garfield Township, Michigan, resulting in the death of a 22-year-old motorcyclist. According to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 9:20 p.m. on South Airport Road near Veterans Drive.
The incident involved a collision between the motorcycle, traveling westbound, and a pickup truck turning north onto Veterans Drive from eastbound South Airport Road. The pickup truck was driven by a 73-year-old man from Traverse City.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
