Deadly Collision Near Yellowstone National Park
Authorities are investigating a tragic crash that occurred Thursday evening near Henry’s Lake State Park in eastern Idaho, resulting in seven fatalities. The collision involved a pickup truck and a passenger van carrying tourists from China and Italy.

According to Idaho State Police, the crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. when a 2021 red Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by 25-year-old Isaiah Moreno from Humble, Texas, collided with the van. The van subsequently caught fire.
Moreno and six passengers in the van died at the scene. Eight others were injured, with three being airlifted to hospitals in Idaho and Montana. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working closely with Chinese and Italian consulates to notify the families of the deceased. The victims will be transported to the Ada County Coroner’s Office for autopsy and formal identification.
The cause of the crash remains unclear, and Idaho State Police are continuing their investigation in collaboration with international authorities and Ctour Holiday LLC.
