The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Monday that they had targeted and destroyed over 100 pickup trucks in the Gaza Strip, utilized by Hamas. These white pickup trucks are of the same type observed being used in the October 7th attack on Israel, and Hamas has continued to employ them since.
Earlier, a Gazan journalist affiliated with Hamas, Hamza al-Masri, issued a warning to Palestinians, advising them to avoid using Toyota pickup trucks. Al-Masri stated, “every Toyota pickup is being targeted by Israel. Stay away from such vehicles.”
