CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A collision between a large pickup truck and a dump truck caused the closure of a road in Clarksville, Tennessee, Tuesday morning.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, the incident occurred on Dunbar Cave Road near the entrance to Dunbar Cave State Park at approximately 9:25 a.m. The crash involved a grey Chevrolet 2500 pickup and a dump truck. The pickup truck ended up on its side in a ditch beside the road, with the dump truck nearby.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
Clarksville PD closed Dunbar Cave Road in both directions to allow for an investigation and for crews to remove the damaged vehicles. Authorities anticipated reopening the road by 11 a.m.
