The 2026 GMC Sierra EV is poised to make a splash in the electric pickup truck market. With the addition of the AT4 and Elevation trims, the Sierra EV now boasts a more comprehensive lineup and a more accessible price point, starting at $64,495. This represents a significant price reduction compared to the 2025 model, making it an attractive option for a wider range of consumers.
GMC has been delivering Sierra EV models since last year. The Sierra is GM’s third electric pickup, following the Chevy Silverado EV and the GMC HUMMER EV. The 2026 model year sees the introduction of new features and trims that promise to enhance the truck’s capabilities and appeal.

The 2026 GMC Sierra EV offers three battery options: Standard, Extended, and Max Range, catering to different driving needs. This variety, alongside the new AT4 and Elevation trims, positions the Sierra EV “right in the heart of the premium truck market,” according to Jaclyn McQuaid, GMC’s global VP.
The AT4 trim is especially noteworthy for its rugged design and off-road capabilities. It features a lifted coil suspension, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and added ground clearance, making it well-suited for adventurous drivers. The inclusion of Terrain Mode further enhances its off-road prowess by optimizing torque and control. Other features available on the AT4 include:
- Standard 4-wheel drive (with CrabWalk)
- Standard GM Super Cruise hands-free driving tech
- Exclusive Forest Storm interior
- Red illuminated GMC badge up front
- Available up to 12,300 lbs of towing
- Available MultiPro MidGate, which expands the bed for nearly 11 feet of space.
- Available 800V DC fast-charging capabilities, offering up to 100 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes.

The base Elevation trim offers a compelling entry point to the Sierra EV lineup, starting at $64,495. It comes equipped with a 16.8-inch infotainment screen, eTrunk, MultiPro Tailgate, and 18-inch machine-face wheels.
The Denali trim continues to offer a premium experience with its refined features, including heated and ventilated seats and Super Cruise. Available options include 4-Wheel Steer, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, and a Panoramic sunroof.
