Import of Chinese Electric Cars to Kyrgyzstan Decreases Significantly in Q1 2025
The import of Chinese electric cars to Kyrgyzstan decreased by half in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the previous year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of China.
In the three-month period, Kyrgyzstan imported 1,300 electric cars from China, with nearly 600 of these imports occurring in March alone. The total value of these imports plummeted by 6.8 times, falling to $16.7 million. The average price for Chinese electric cars imported during this period ranged from $11,000 to $13,000.
