The Retailer AI platform features a voice-activated user interface, bringing personalized concierge experiences and retail engagement opportunities to life. According to Electric Era founder and CEO Quincy Lee, a former SpaceX engineer, the platform is designed to be a ‘blank palette that retailers can use to design and activate their ultimate branded EV charging experience.’
Personalized Experience
The charging station’s AI technology can find nearby restaurants, shopping centers, and points of interest while displaying the charging vehicle’s vitals on the screen. Lee explained that as an EV owner himself, he often looks for charge locations where he can utilize his downtime productively. The Retailer AI acts as a personal assistant, ‘knowing’ who the driver is and their current situation, to help them optimize their charge time.

The platform allows users to order from the electric vehicle charger’s screen, effectively extending the retailer’s space into the parking lot. Lee emphasized that AI is ‘as endless as our imagination,’ making it the ultimate platform for retailers to better serve their customers.
