Driver Cited After Tire Flies Off Truck, Damages Fire Department
SCHUYKILL COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A pickup truck driver has been cited after a freak accident damaged a fire department in Ashland. State Police confirmed that on Sunday night, a tire was caught on camera barreling towards the Washington Fire Company Community Ambulance Inc. on Centre Street.

The video obtained by CBS 21 shows the tire then careening into a stone part of the building, causing the small structure to fall apart. The driver, identified by State Police, was given multiple citations for the incident. The accident occurred on Sunday night and was captured on camera.
The Washington Fire Company Community Ambulance Inc. is located on Centre Street in Ashland. The damage to the building was significant enough to cause the stone structure to collapse. State Police handled the investigation and issued citations to the driver.
