Peel police have arrested one man and are searching for another in connection with the theft of nearly $1 million worth of luxury vehicles from a Brampton business in November 2023.
Details of the Theft
On November 2023, two men entered a luxury vehicle rental business in Brampton, making off with several keys and two luxury vehicles valued at $750,000. Investigators believe the stolen vehicles were eventually exported to foreign markets.
Arrests and Charges
Charmeet Matharu, 29, of Brampton, was arrested on April 1, 2025, and charged with break-and-enter and two counts of theft of a motor vehicle. Police have issued an arrest warrant for Nikhil Sidhu, 26, also of Brampton. Anyone with information about Sidhu’s whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities.
