Mercedes-AMG Unveils Exclusive GT 63 APXGP Edition at Miami Grand Prix
Mercedes-AMG has debuted its ultra-rare Mercedes-AMG GT 63 APXGP Edition at the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, inspired by the upcoming Formula 1 movie starring Brad Pitt. Limited to 52 units globally, this exclusive coupe combines cinema-like excitement with performance engineering, honouring the film’s fictional APXGP racing team.

The GT 63 APXGP Edition takes inspiration from the fictional APXGP Formula 1 team’s colour palette, transforming the GT 63 Coupe into a striking gold-and-black spectacle. The body features hand-applied Race Gold trim on the front fenders, side sills, rear apron, and diffuser. The scheme extends to the 21-inch forged wheels with Night Race Gold finish, along with carbon-ceramic brakes and gloss black callipers.
Inside, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 APXGP Edition continues to make a statement with black Nappa leather and microfibre sports seats, accented with gold contrasting stitching. Michael Schiebe, Mercedes-AMG GmbH Management Board Chairman, said at the launch: “We created a limited number of GTs that combine the excitement of AMG with the cinematic work of F1.”
The APXGP Edition comes with AMG’s Carbon Fibre and Aerodynamics packages as standard, boosting downforce and aesthetics. While the price for this limited series has not been officially announced, its exclusivity and bespoke design mean the price is expected to be at least twice that of the entry-level model, which starts at €178,000 (approximately ₹3.3 crore or $201,816).
The Mercedes-AMG GT will feature in the new F1 movie, out in June 2025, where Brad Pitt will drive the legendary APXGP vehicle. The GT 63 APXGP Edition gives fans a real-world taste of that adrenaline, making it a collector’s dream charged with cinematic passion.
