A woman from Limerick, Maine, died in a head-on collision on Sokokis Trail in Cornish on Monday afternoon. The Maine Department of Public Safety reported that Donna Webber was driving north on Sokokis Trail when her Ford Fusion crossed the center line and collided with a commercial Ford F-350 vehicle towing a trailer with two pickup trucks. The crash occurred at approximately 1:42 p.m. at 1277 Sokokis Trail. Webber was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the commercial vehicle was uninjured. The road was closed for about six hours as Maine State Police reconstructed the accident scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
