2025 Jeep Avenger Electric Car Price Slashed by $16,000 in Special Offer

Jeep Australia has significantly reduced the price of its Avenger electric car as part of its end-of-financial-year (EOFY) specials. The base Avenger Longitude grade is now available from $40,000 drive-away, representing a discount of around $16,000.

    Original Pricing and Discounts

The recommended retail price of the base Avenger Longitude was $49,990 before on-road costs. With the addition of premium paint, an optional extra costing $990, the total drive-away price in Victoria would normally be just over $56,000. The EOFY offer has brought this down to $40,000 drive-away.

While specific savings on the mid-spec Limited and top-spec Summit grades have not been detailed, Jeep Australia states that “substantial factory bonuses” are available at the discretion of local dealers. If similar savings are negotiated for these grades, the drive-away prices would be around $45,000 for the Limited and $51,000 for the Summit.

    Market Positioning

This price reduction makes the entry-level Avenger the cheapest all-electric SUV in Australia, undercutting competitors such as the Hyundai Inster (from $39,000 before on-road costs), BYD Atto 3 (from $39,990), and Hyundai Kona EV (from $54,000). However, it’s worth noting that the latter two models are slightly larger than the Jeep EV.

The Avenger is priced lower than the MG 4 (about $41,156 drive-away when not on special for $36,990) but remains pricier than the GWM Ora ($35,990) and BYD Dolphin (from $29,990 before on-road costs).

    Specifications

Regardless of the grade, all Jeep Avenger models feature a single 115kW/260Nm electric motor driving the front wheels. They are also equipped with a 51kWh battery, boasting a claimed driving range of 391km to 396km on the WLTP test cycle, depending on the model grade.

Key standard features across the range include a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, reversing camera, and push-button start. The specification list can be found on Jeep’s official website.

    Sales Performance

The Jeep Avenger was confirmed for Australian showrooms in early 2024, initially priced from $53,990 before on-road costs for the base Longitude. The brand subsequently reduced prices by $4000 for the base model and $3000 for the Limited and Summit grades just before launch.

After four months on the market, Jeep has registered only seven new Avenger sales in 2025, according to VFACTS data. This compares to 3394 deliveries for the market-leading Tesla Model Y by the end of April.

    Availability

Jeep Australia’s promotion is available while stocks last. The discount is part of the brand’s EOFY specials, aiming to clear current stock to make way for new models.
