The Woodstock Fire Co.2 Wittenberg is seeking help after one of its emergency response vehicles was vandalized last week. The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8th, and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9th, while the truck was parked on Wittenberg Road near a bridge closure.

The department typically parks the truck in this location to maintain quick response times during emergencies. Relocating it could add 20-25 minutes to their response time, increasing from 5 minutes.
The community has been supportive, with many offering donations and services to replace the damaged cover. Speedys Towing has offered to contribute funds toward the replacement.
