Hit-and-Run Leaves Pedestrian in Critical Condition
A man is fighting for his life after being struck by a driver in a pickup truck who failed to stop following the crash in San Antonio’s west side late Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. in the 100 block of South General McMullen Drive. According to San Antonio Police, the victim was crossing within the designated crosswalk when he was hit by the pickup truck. The driver, who was behind the wheel of the pickup, fled the scene immediately after the collision.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition. Police reported that the man did not have any form of identification on him at the time of the incident, making it challenging to determine his identity.
