SAN ANGELO, TX — Police and fire departments responded to a collision on the eastbound access road to Houston Harte near Howard St. on Freeland Blvd. Witnesses reported hearing a loud ‘boom’ followed by smoke from a red van. Upon investigation, they found a blue car had rear-ended the parked van. The southbound lane of the 400 block of Howard St. was blocked off by police. Damage was observed on the front passenger side of the blue vehicle and behind the driver’s side of the van. Fortunately, no one appeared to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance, suggesting that the parked red van was likely unoccupied.

The incident caused disruption in the area, with police managing the scene and assessing the damage. The blue car’s collision with the parked red van resulted in noticeable damage to both vehicles.
