Lake Luzerne Couple Faces Felony Charges for Violent Dispute with Landlord
A Lake Luzerne couple, both 27 years old, have been arrested and charged with first-degree attempted assault and endangering the welfare of children after allegedly running over their landlord with a pickup truck and then assaulting him during a dispute on May 24, 2025.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, the violent incident occurred on Saturday, May 24, 2025, and the badly injured victim was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital by ambulance. The couple, who had their three children in the vehicle at the time of the incident, were later apprehended by authorities.

The female suspect was found in Corinth, while the male suspect surrendered to authorities later. Both were arraigned and subsequently sent to Warren County jail on $25,000 cash bail. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the operation by their counterparts in Saratoga County, as well as Warren County Child Protective Services.
The victim’s condition remained unknown as of Monday, May 27, 2025. The incident has sparked a significant response from local law enforcement, highlighting the severity of the alleged crime and the ongoing support for the victim.
