A tragic accident occurred in Gulf County, Florida, on Tuesday afternoon when a pickup truck driven by a local woman collided head-on with a bucket line truck on State Road 71. The woman, who was traveling northbound, veered off the road and crashed into the bucket truck that was working on the east shoulder of the roadway. The impact was severe enough to throw two workers out of the bucket, where they were secured in the extended boom at the time of the collision. The workers, identified as a man from Cairo, Georgia, and another from Crawfordville, Florida, were hospitalized with injuries. The Gulf County woman involved in the crash lost her life. The Cairo man sustained minor injuries, while the Crawfordville man suffered serious injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol investigated the incident and released details through a press release.
