Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Longview
LONGVIEW, Texas — A pedestrian died Wednesday night after being hit by a pickup truck while attempting to cross the street. According to the Longview Police Department, officers responded to a crash between a pickup truck and a pedestrian in the 1600 block of Pine Tree Road around 10:36 p.m.
Officers determined that the pedestrian attempted to cross the street but failed to yield the right of way to the oncoming truck. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.
