A serious collision occurred Tuesday morning in western Palm Beach County when a dump truck and a pickup truck crashed on U.S. Highway 27 near County Road 827. The accident, which happened around 6:30 a.m., resulted in two people being airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the scene, where they found the two individuals trapped in the vehicles and required extrication.
