Hongqi, a Chinese luxury car brand owned by FAW Group, recently showcased its lineup of luxury vehicles at the 2025 International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo in Hong Kong. The event, which took place from June 12 to 15, 2025, highlighted Hongqi’s ‘Oriental Luxury’ concept, featuring its Golden Sunflower series vehicles. These models, including Guoyao, Guoli, Guoya, and Guoyue, demonstrate Hongqi’s mastery of design aesthetics, safety standards, and manufacturing quality.
Qiu Xiandong, chairman of China FAW Group Co., Ltd., attended the expo’s opening ceremony and delivered a speech, emphasizing FAW Group’s commitment to integrating into Hong Kong and achieving win-win results through deep cooperation. The event also included the ‘Glory in Hong Kong, Shaping the Future Together’ Golden Sunflower Exclusive Appreciation Event, where Hongqi forged connections with local customers.
During the appreciation event, Liu Changqing, assistant president of China FAW Group Co., Ltd. and vice president of Hongqi Brand Operation Committee, presented a customized commemorative gift to Wong Yan Kwong, chairman of the KONSTAR Group and Hong Kong Hongqi Enthusiasts Association. Qiu Xiandong also presented a top-tier luxury sedan, Guoli, to Lo Man Tuen, chairman of the Wing Li Group (International) Limited.
The expo featured a range of Hongqi’s classic and modern models, including the Hongqi CA770, H9, HQ9, and E-HS9. The Hongqi ‘TianNian NO.1’ flying car was another highlight, showcasing the brand’s forward-looking technological concepts and innovative design.
Hongqi plans to launch over 20 new models globally in the next five years, including new energy vehicles, fuel-efficient models, and Golden Sunflower series models. The brand aims to share the story of oriental luxury automotive with global users and provide new travel experiences through China’s high-end intelligent manufacturing.
