Fatal Crash on Interstate 20 East Near Marshall
A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Interstate 20 East and U.S. Highway 59 near Marshall, Texas. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a pickup truck collided with a motorcycle, resulting in one fatality.
Preliminary findings indicate that both vehicles were traveling eastbound when the pickup truck struck the rear of the motorcycle. The motorcycle’s passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The condition of the pickup truck driver has not been disclosed by the authorities.
