The Idaho State Police reported a second fatal accident near Twin Falls on June 18, 2025, involving a motorcycle and a semi-truck. The crash occurred at 11:30 AM at mile marker 184 on westbound Interstate 84, approximately 9 miles from the location of the first fatal accident, which happened at 9:30 AM.
The motorcyclist, a 63-year-old man from Eagan, Minnesota, was riding a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on I-84 when he failed to slow in time and struck a 2025 Western Star semi-truck pulling two trailers. The semi-truck was driven by a 26-year-old man from Burley, Idaho. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident blocked traffic for about an hour during the late morning. Idaho State Police are investigating the incident. This crash is the second fatal accident reported in the same area within a span of two hours, with the first involving a pickup truck that rolled, killing the driver.

According to Idaho State Police reports, there were 23 motorcycle accidents in 2024, resulting in 16 injuries and 18 fatalities.
