Fatal Accident at Orange Gas Station
A woman was struck and killed in the parking lot of a gas station along Texas Highway 62 near Interstate 10 in Orange, Texas. Witnesses described the scene, stating that the victim, a passenger on a Greyhound bus, had just disembarked with her husband when the incident occurred.
According to eyewitness accounts, a black pickup truck entered the parking lot and suddenly accelerated, hitting both a light pole and the woman. The couple had gotten off the bus mere minutes before the accident. Crime scene tape was observed surrounding the pickup truck, which came to rest in a grassy area at the edge of the parking lot.
