Pickup Truck Fire on I-195 East
EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A pickup truck burst into flames on I-195 East in East Providence on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred in the breakdown lane near Exit 1C just after 6:30 p.m. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, and it appears that the fire did not cause any significant traffic disruptions.
The cause of the fire remains unclear, and it is unknown whether anyone was injured in the incident.
