Road Rage Incident on I-95 Investigated by Virginia State Police
Authorities are seeking the driver of a black pickup truck believed to be involved in a road rage shooting on Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred near the 122-mile marker on southbound I-95 at approximately 2:15 p.m. following a confrontation between a black Tesla and the pickup truck.
According to Virginia State Police (VSP), the altercation escalated to gunfire, with the Tesla being struck multiple times. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. In a significant development, VSP released an image of the suspected pickup truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma, which was captured at the 121-mile marker on I-95 south just minutes after the shooting.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the interaction between the two vehicles to contact VSP at 804-750-8778. The police are working to identify the pickup truck’s driver and determine the circumstances surrounding the road rage incident.
