A pickup truck was involved in a crash on northbound Interstate 29 in Watertown on June 20. Watertown Fire Rescue responded to the incident at 3:30 p.m., finding the vehicle with front-end damage after it struck the side of a bridge. The crash resulted in a coolant leak on the roadway and minimal debris. One patient was assessed by medics at the scene and transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown for further care. The South Dakota Highway Patrol, a Codington County Sheriff’s Deputy, and Performance Towing also responded to the incident.
