Genesis GV60 Receives Significant Updates
Genesis has unveiled a refreshed version of its GV60 electric vehicle, featuring numerous enhancements across design, technology, and performance. The updated model boasts an improved driving range, new entertainment services, and advanced safety features.
Exterior and Interior Upgrades
The GV60 refresh begins with a revised front end, incorporating a new bumper design and updated headlights featuring Genesis’ signature Two Line headlamps with Micro Lens Array technology. The vehicle now offers two new wheel designs in 20″ and 21″ sizes, alongside 14 available exterior color options. The interior has also been significantly updated with a new 27″ connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) infotainment system, representing a major technological advancement.
Technological Enhancements
The new ccIC display introduces Genesis’ enhanced suite of connected entertainment services, including Bloomberg Media, Bloomberg TV, Disney+, and Netflix. Other notable interior additions include a three-spoke heated steering wheel with Hands-On detection for improved safety. The GV60 now offers an available Virtual Gearshift feature, simulating the experience of manual gear shifting, complete with a “hidden” Drift Mode for closed-course driving.
Performance Improvements
The updated GV60 demonstrates significant performance enhancements, particularly with the introduction of an Electronic Limited Slip Differential (E-LSD) and optional 180 kW electric motors at both front and rear axles. This configuration delivers up to 700 Nm of torque, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4 seconds when using Boost Mode. The performance is supported by Genesis’ new 84 kWh battery, which extends the single-motor GV60’s WLTP range to 348 miles.
Charging and Availability
The GV60 maintains its rapid charging capability, able to recharge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes using a 350 kW fast charger. Orders for the updated model will open in the UK on July 1, with pricing starting at £54,855 for the current model. In the US, the 2025 Genesis GV60 begins at $52,350, featuring an EPA-estimated range of 294 miles. Genesis is currently promoting an $11,500 EV Lease Bonus in the US, with lease rates starting at $349 per month.
