Pickup Truck Driver Trapped After Crashing into Tractor-Trailer in Hesperia
HESPERIA, Calif. — A driver was trapped inside a pickup truck following a collision with a tractor-trailer on Thursday night, June 26, 2025. The crash occurred around 8:42 p.m. on Hesperia Road, just north of Lemon Street.
According to a statement from the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the pickup truck driver was pinned in the wreckage and required extrication. Firefighters worked for over 30 minutes to free the trapped driver. They requested a medical helicopter to land at Desert Valley Hospital to prepare for rapid transport of the injured driver.
As of 9:20 p.m., emergency crews were still actively working to extricate the individual. Authorities shut down Hesperia Road between Lemon and Mesa Street as responders worked at the scene.
