An 84-year-old woman was killed when she was struck by a pickup truck in Norwalk on Saturday, according to police. The incident occurred around 10:16 a.m. near 133 Connecticut Ave. Police reported that Josephine Pimpinella was crossing the entrance to the parking lot at Baci Italian Deli when she was hit. She was taken to Norwalk Hospital with serious injuries and later died. The status of the driver was not immediately clear, nor was it known if any charges were filed.
