Stranger Danger Alert in Plymouth Township
A stranger danger alert has been issued in Plymouth Township, Michigan, after a disturbing incident involving a teenage girl runner and an older man in a white pickup truck. The incident occurred on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 12:03 p.m. in the vicinity of Joy and McClumpha roads.
According to the Plymouth Township Police Department, the teenage girl was running in the area when she was approached by a white man in his 60s driving a white pickup truck. The man, described as having slicked-back black hair, honked his horn as he drove past the girl, then turned his vehicle around and approached her a second time. During this second encounter, he allegedly told the girl that she was “so beautiful that he had to look at her again.”
After the second encounter, the girl ran into a nearby neighborhood, where a neighbor assisted her as she called her father. The police were notified, and an investigation is currently underway.
