The Exynos Auto V920 is Samsung’s third-generation automotive processor, boasting major upgrades in CPU, graphics, and neural processing performance. This means faster processing and more efficient handling of data, leading to smoother displays and improved performance.
The V920’s 10-core CPU provides 1.7 times greater processing power than its predecessor. This allows for real-time display of critical driving information and seamless playback of high-quality video and games across multiple screens. It also supports up to 12 camera sensors and six high-resolution displays.
Enhanced graphics capabilities, with twice the processing speed of the previous generation, provide a rich graphical user interface. The NPU (neural processing unit) delivers 2.7 times better performance, improving driver monitoring features and overall safety. The processor also includes a built-in safety system compliant with ASIL-B requirements, ensuring the IVI system remains secure.
