Jaguar Land Rover Expands Bespoke Paint Services
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is set to invest £65 million ($80.71 million) to enlarge its premium paint services in the UK and Slovakia. This move aims to satisfy the rising demand for personalized vehicles among its high-end clientele. The announcement came on Monday.

This investment shows JLR’s intent to capitalize on the trend, similar to its competitor Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, a subsidiary of BMW. JLR’s decision will more than double the capability of its SV Bespoke Paint matching service. This upgrade will allow Range Rover SV clients to have their cars painted in any imaginable color, including those matching their private aircraft or yachts.
New paint facilities will be established in Castle Bromwich, West Midlands and Nitra, Slovakia.
Rolls-Royce declared earlier this month that it would be investing £300 million to concentrate more on bespoke car orders, offering customizations from gold sculptures to mother-of-pearl artwork.
