Woman, 25, Dies in East Windsor Collision
Windsor police are investigating a fatal collision that claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman on the city’s east side. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Lauzon Parkway and Hawthorne Drive.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a white sedan with extensive front-end damage and a white pickup truck that had rolled onto its side, according to a police statement.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 38-year-old man, sustained injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening.
Police are actively seeking any witnesses to the crash and urge anyone with video footage of the incident to come forward immediately. The Windsor Police Service has requested that anyone with information contact them as soon as possible. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
