MONTOUR COUNTY, PA (WBRE/WYOU) – An 86-year-old man from Danville died following a collision involving his vehicle and a pickup truck, according to the coroner’s office. The Montour County Coroner’s Office and state police are investigating the death of Carl Swisher of Danville.
The coroner’s report indicates that Swisher was traveling north on State Route 11 when he attempted a left turn onto Groviana Drive in Cooper Township. While completing the turn, Swisher’s vehicle entered the path of an oncoming pickup truck, resulting in a collision. Swisher was transported to Geisinger Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
