Bicyclist Injured in Collier County Crash
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a pickup truck on Thursday evening at Tamiami Trail East and Barefoot Williams Road, according to officials.
Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding the crash at approximately 5:05 p.m. Florida Highway Patrol troopers confirmed the bicyclist sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
