SALT LAKE CITY — A motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving a pickup truck on Saturday evening at 1700 S. State Street.
The Salt Lake City Police Department reported that the motorcyclist succumbed to injuries after being transported to the hospital. The driver of the truck is cooperating with the police investigation.
According to the SLCPD, all southbound traffic on State Street is being diverted at Kensington Avenue. Additionally, westbound traffic on 1700 South is being redirected to northbound State Street.
