Bajaj Auto Remains at the Forefront of Electric Two-Wheeler Sales in February 2025
The Indian electric two-wheeler market is heating up as established manufacturers gain traction, leveraging their extensive networks and reliable service. According to the latest Vahan report, Bajaj Auto has taken the lead, solidifying its position in the competition.

In February 2025, Bajaj Auto retailed 19,290 units, securing the top spot. TVS Motor Company followed closely in second place with sales of 17,405 units.
Ather Energy, based in Bengaluru, claimed third position with 10,723 units sold last month. The company recently updated its portfolio, including feature and hardware enhancements to the Ather 450X.
Ola’s performance saw a decline, with the Vahan portal reporting just 7,963 units. However, Ola disputed these figures, claiming 20,000 bookings and asserting market leadership.
Greaves Electric Mobility continued its positive trend, surpassing Hero MotoCorp with 3,243 units compared to Hero Vida’s 2,455. This marks the second consecutive month Greaves has outperformed the traditional heavyweight.
Despite this positive momentum, total electric two-wheeler sales dipped below 70,000 units in February, a considerable drop from January’s nearly 100,000 units. This decrease mainly resulted from Ola’s lower registration numbers and slight declines in sales across other manufacturers. Nonetheless, reports from FADA indicate that Ola Electric has regained the lead.
