Stolen Truck Found Burning
Kamloops RCMP are investigating a stolen vehicle that was found ablaze on a Highway 1 off-ramp east of Kamloops. The fire occurred shortly after the truck was reported stolen from a Valleyview home.
Police were called to a residence in the 2800-block of Valleyview Drive just after 4 a.m. on February 24th, 2025, following a report of a stolen 2007 Ford F-350.
“Minutes later, a truck was located abandoned and burning on the Hook Road off ramp,” said RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.
Crews from the Pritchard Volunteer Fire Department extinguished the fire. Cpl. Evelyn confirmed the burnt truck was the one reported stolen from Valleyview Drive.
