The Indian automotive market is always evolving, and March 2025 is shaping up to be a significant month with several noteworthy car launches. While February focused on model updates and special editions, the coming month promises more substantial releases, including exciting electric vehicles (EVs) and luxury offerings. Here’s a peek at what to expect:
Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara
Maruti Suzuki is poised to launch its first all-electric vehicle in India, a significant step for the brand. The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, previously showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo, is expected to make its debut in March. The SUV boasts a muscular design and a well-appointed interior.


Dealers have begun accepting bookings, and the vehicle has been spotted in showrooms. The e-Vitara will offer two battery pack options: a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh, providing a claimed range exceeding 500 km. The expected price range is approximately ₹17 lakh to ₹21 lakh, ex-showroom.
Volvo XC90 Facelift
The Volvo XC90 facelift is anticipated to launch in March, serving as the company’s flagship model in India. The expected price is around ₹1 crore, ex-showroom. This updated model features subtle design enhancements, including a redesigned bumper, sleeker LED headlights and taillights, and new alloy wheels.

Inside, the 2025 XC90 is expected to have an upgraded cabin, including an 11.2-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, four-zone automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. While the mild-hybrid petrol engine is likely to be retained, Volvo may also introduce a plug-in hybrid variant.
Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series
The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is slated for a March debut, positioned as the most performance-oriented model from the Maybach brand and the first two-seater under the name. This luxury roadster features a striking dual-tone red and black exterior, sleek LED headlights, and prominent 21-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the SL 680 continues the Maybach legacy of opulence with its luxurious dual-tone white and grey cabin, complete with exclusive Maybach design elements. Key features comprise an 11.9-inch infotainment display, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s cluster, and powered seats with memory functions. The SL 680 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 585 PS and 800 Nm of torque, enabling a 0 to 100 kmph acceleration in just 4 seconds.
Tata Harrier EV
The production version of the Tata Harrier EV, which was showcased at the Auto Expo, is expected to launch by the end of March. The electric SUV maintains the overall styling of its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart but incorporates unique EV design elements. While specific powertrain details haven’t been fully disclosed, Tata has confirmed a dual-motor setup, providing all-wheel-drive capabilities. The estimated torque for the electric SUV is 500 Nm, striking a balance between performance and capability. The starting price of the Tata Harrier EV is expected to be around ₹21 lakh, ex-showroom.
Kia EV6 Facelift
The Kia EV6 facelift, which was also displayed at the Auto Expo 2025, is expected to be launched in March. The facelifted version is likely to be priced around ₹65 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelift introduces subtle design changes, including redesigned LED headlights and a new set of alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin has been updated with elements like a two-spoke steering wheel and a fresh center console. Key features include dual 12.3-inch displays, the 12.3-inch heads-up display, as well as an advanced driver-assistance system. The facelift also incorporates a larger 84kWh battery pack, which offers around 650 kilometers of range, according to the company’s claims.
