Volvo recently launched the facelifted version of the XC90 in India, introducing a range of updates to the popular luxury SUV. The 2025 XC90 is now priced at ₹1.03 crore (ex-showroom), representing a ₹2 lakh increase over the previous model. This updated model, which made its global debut last year, features design enhancements, technological upgrades, and improved comfort.
2025 Volvo XC90: Exterior Design
Exterior updates bring notable changes to the XC90’s appearance. The front fascia now sports slimmer LED headlights with Thor’s hammer-shaped LED DRLs, a redesigned front grille featuring new sloping lines, and a metallic finish. These changes contribute to a more rugged and bold look for the front bumper. Additional exterior elements include new dual-tone 21-inch alloy wheels, silver door sills, and chrome window sills. The look is completed by a new roof spoiler and the Volvo badge on the rear tailgate.

Color Options
The 2025 XC90 is available in a new Mulberry Red color, alongside five other options: Onyx Black, Crystal White, Denim Blue, Vapor Grey, and Bright Dusk.
Interior and Features Updates
The XC90’s cabin retains its luxurious feel with only minor changes. These include a new 11.2-inch standalone screen, a 19-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ventilated and massaging power front seats, and a four-zone climate control system. Further refinements include stretched AC vents and a new gloss-black trim on the bottom spoke of the steering wheel. The interior retains its high-end materials and 7-seater layout.

Powertrain Specifications
The 2025 XC90 Facelift is powered by the same 2.0-liter turbo-petrol mild-hybrid motor as the previous model, delivering 250 horsepower and 360Nm of torque. The engine allows the SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and drives all four wheels.
Price and Rivals
The 2025 Volvo XC90 is positioned in the luxury SUV segment, with a starting price of ₹1.03 crore (ex-showroom). In this competitive market, it rivals models such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and Audi Q7.
