Pedestrian Fatality in Longview
LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) — A pedestrian has died after being struck by a pickup truck on Tuesday night, the Longview Police Department reported.
Longview police officers were called to the scene at approximately 9:14 p.m. in the 200 block of West Loop 281.
Initial findings indicate the man was crossing the roadway “at an improper location” when an eastbound pickup truck hit him.
Authorities transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation remains ongoing.
