Texas Longhorns Player Regrets Having to Return Lamborghini Revuelto
Texas Longhorns defensive back Michael Taaffe is facing a disappointing situation: he must give back the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar he’s been enjoying. The car was provided through a sponsorship deal, but with the agreement’s expiration, Taaffe is required to return the high-performance vehicle.
Taaffe was hoping to hold onto the car for another year. He had planned to keep the supercar until he moved on to the NFL.
Sponsorship Deal with Lamborghini Austin
The sponsorship was arranged through Lamborghini Austin, a local dealership that has partnered with several Texas Longhorns players.
Taaffe had been driving the Lamborghini Revuelto, a hybrid supercar.

Taaffe expressed his hopes to keep the vehicle in an interview on the “3rd & Longhorn” YouTube show. “The guy at Lamborghini Austin, Mr. Bruce Knox, if you’re tuning in — one more year,” Taaffe said.
About the Lamborghini Revuelto
The Revuelto represents Lamborghini’s move into hybrid technology, following the Sian hypercar. It is currently the most powerful Lamborghini ever made, boasting a 6.5-liter V12 engine and three electric motors that produce a combined 1,001 horsepower and 783 lb-ft of torque. These figures rival those of the Bugatti Veyron.
