2025 Acura ADX: A Compact Luxury SUV That Redefines Value
If you’re in the market for a compact SUV that blends luxury, performance, and value, the 2025 Acura ADX demands your attention. Featuring a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a premium leather interior, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, heated seats, rear climate control, and a stylish design, the ADX offers a compelling package, especially considering its competitive pricing.
Driving the ADX, particularly the fully loaded A-Spec trim with the Advance Package, revealed a sophisticated SUV that exceeded expectations. Cutting through canyons and cruising on the highway showcased the ADX’s versatility.
This review is based on firsthand experience and expertise. I was a guest of Acura for this test drive, but all opinions expressed here are my own.
Blending Sporty Dynamics with SUV Functionality
The 2025 Acura ADX aims to answer the question: “What if we combined the sporty driving characteristics of the Integra with the practicality and style of our SUVs?” The result is a stylish and functional compact SUV.
The ADX boasts a wide stance, a low profile, and even shares its engine with the Integra. The wide tires and powerful brakes suggest this SUV is built for everyday versatility.
Performance That Surprises

Under the hood, a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine generates nearly 200 horsepower. Paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the engine offers a responsive and engaging driving experience.
Interior Design: A Welcome Departure from the Ordinary
Acura’s designers avoided boring interior color schemes. The base A-Spec trim boasts an “orchid” color, a unique off-white with bluish-purple accents. The test vehicle featured a black interior with red accents.

The open interior provides excellent visibility for both the driver and passengers, complemented by a large, tinted sunroof.

The seats are comfortable, and rear passengers benefit from a spacious environment with rear climate control, vents, and USB-C charging ports.
CVT Performance: A Pleasant Surprise

Traditionally, CVTs aren’t known for responsiveness, but the ADX’s CVT surprised with its responsiveness, particularly in Sport mode. The engine’s exhaust notes added to the experience. Even with a heavy foot on winding roads the fuel ecomomy was an impressive 27 mpg.
Size and Practicality

The ADX strikes a balance between larger SUVs and the Integra. Its size is comparable to a Subaru Forester or Honda HR-V, offering SUV space without the bulk. While capable of seating adults comfortably in the rear, the ADX may be less ideal for rear-facing car seats. The trunk space is suitable for daily family needs, the design, space, and driving style is expected the design will set a new stnadard for affordable luxury SUVs.
Design That Exudes Elegance

The ADX’s exterior design follows Acura’s sporty-yet-elegant aesthetic, with details like the gray paint, glossy black wheels, and the distinctive Acura badge.
Sound That Elevates the Experience

The 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, typically found in luxury cars, enhances the driving experience. The ADX’s sound system is a game-changer. The dedicated subwoofer under the trunk produced an impressively rich sound.
Final Thoughts
The 2025 Acura ADX left a lasting impression, combining luxury, performance, and practicality. It will deliver a smile on any drive. Its a no-brainer when considering a car.
