Cadillac is rolling out an updated Escalade for the 2025 model year, and the changes are substantial. Motorists can expect a host of new features, including power-opening and closing doors and a massive 55-inch display screen that stretches across the dashboard. The updated Escalade also incorporates styling cues from Cadillac’s electric vehicle lineup.
Production of the 2025 Escalade, including both regular and extended-wheelbase models, will begin in late 2024 at Cadillac’s Arlington, Texas, manufacturing facility. Cadillac plans to prioritize production of the high-end Premium Luxury Platinum and the 689-horsepower V-Series trims. Pricing will be announced later in the year.
Key Features of the 2025 Escalade
The 2025 Escalade boasts several noteworthy upgrades:
- Power-opening and closing doors
- A 55-inch display screen array
- LED headlights and turn signals inspired by Cadillac’s EVs
- Illuminated front Cadillac crest and grille surround (on certain models)
- AKG audio systems with up to 40 speakers
- “Executive” second-row seating package
- 22- and 24-inch wheel options
Striking New Design Elements
The most striking visual updates are located at the front of the vehicle:
- Vertical LED headlights positioned low
- Narrow, horizontal LED turn signals high on the fascia
- An illuminated Cadillac crest
- Available illuminated grille surround

Inside, the dashboard is dominated by a 55-inch display screen that spans nearly the entire width of the vehicle. It features a high-resolution gauge cluster, a 35-inch touchscreen for the driver, and a 20-inch touchscreen for the front passenger. The passenger screen is hidden from the driver’s view but allows control of various functions or media streaming. Infotainment controls also offer Google-powered connected voice recognition and navigation.

A separate touchscreen situated above the center console manages climate controls. While physical controls are limited, a volume dial on the center console and a multipurpose rotary controller provide alternative methods of controlling the infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are also standard, as are wireless charging pads.
Premium Amenities in the Rear
The rear seating area receives a sophisticated upgrade with the Executive package, which includes stowable tray tables, 12.6-inch personal control screens, wireless charging pads, massaging seats, and headrest-mounted speakers. AKG audio is standard, offering a 19-speaker system on base models, with upgrades available up to a 40-speaker configuration with the Executive seating package. The Escalade accommodates up to eight passengers.

An all-electric Escalade, the Escalade IQ, is also slated for production in the future.
Power Doors: A Touch of Luxury
Power doors are integrated as standard equipment on the V-Series and Platinum trims. All four doors can be opened and closed at the touch of a button via the command center touchscreen and the doors themselves. The driver’s door can even be programmed to automatically open when the key fob is within proximity. The doors offer three different opening widths and are equipped with sensors to detect obstacles, preventing contact during operation.

Other notable features include:
- Super Cruise hands-free driving assistant (standard)
- Night vision
- Full-color head-up display
- HD streaming
- Magnetic ride control
- Air suspension

Why Choose the 2025 Escalade?
The Escalade, like its predecessors, is designed to make a statement. From the available long-wheelbase ESV’s impressive 18.9-foot length to the distinctiveness of the 689-hp V-Series’ supercharged V8 exhaust note, the 2025 Escalade offers a premium driving experience both inside and out.
